Depravity is so lost in modern theology.<br />"A professing Christian" is the term we (in our church) use to refer to people who profess Christ, but bear no fruit of repentance or regeneration. Reminds me of Matt 7. Many will profess Christ on the day of judgement, but He will say to them "I never knew you". Ugh, so crushing to imagine. <br />We have to look at fruit. So many claim to have a relationship with Jesus, but have never and are not now repenting.
